8 to 18 years     1.5 hours Class size 5 to 12 guests       $49 (PayPal Pay in 4 available)

In this interactive workshop, held over the school holidays in Port Noarlunga, kids will have a chance to learn the art of henna tattoos. Led by experienced henna artist Lisa Ash from Creative Club, this class will introduce children to the basics of this beautiful body art form. Be prepared to delve into the culturally rich world of henna as Lisa shares the history behind it, including its origins and cultural significance.
Throughout the workshop, your child will learn the essential skills needed to safely use henna. Lisa will guide them on how to properly hold and apply henna, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. They will even discover which henna brands are recommended and which ones to avoid.
Creating stunning and simple designs is a highlight of this workshop. Lisa will teach children how to trace existing designs and even how to unleash their creativity by creating their very own beautiful henna designs—perfect for little hands.
Throughout the workshop, children will have the opportunity to practice applying henna themselves, applying what they've learned to create their own unique designs. As a special treat, Lisa will also provide each participant with a henna design personally crafted by her.
If your child is captivated by the art of henna, extra henna will be available for purchase at the end of the workshop. They can bring their newfound skills home to continue exploring this beautiful art form.
Note: Safety is a top priority, and a spot test will be conducted at the beginning of the class to check for skin irritation. While this workshop is suitable for most children, it may not be ideal for those with a history of skin allergies or highly sensitive skin. Please keep this in mind before enrolling.
