Harness the Fire Horse: Lucky Bag Making Workshop

3 hours Class size 4 to 6 guests       $110 (PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Construct a lucky bag for the Year of the Fire Horse

Fire Horse years occur only once every 60 years, making 2026 one of the most powerful combinations in the Chinese zodiac cycle. Fire symbolises energy and swiftness, while the horse represents vitality, passion, and momentum. Together, they embody bold change, confidence, and courageous new beginnings.

In this special sewing workshop, you’ll create your own Lucky Fire Horse Bag; a bold and practical accessory designed to carry the vibrant energy of the year.

Crimson red, the most auspicious colour for a Fire Horse year, is believed to amplify passion, success, and protection. In Chinese tradition, those born in the Year of the Horse are encouraged to wear red throughout 2026 to ward off misfortune and invite blessings. Red accessories are also thought to bring confidence and clarity in important moments.

You’ll craft a durable, eye-catching bag using heavy-duty waxed canvas with leather accents. Fully lined and built to last, this versatile bag can be used as a toiletry bag, art supply pouch, knitting project bag, or everyday organiser.

Whether you’re making it for yourself or as a thoughtful gift for someone born in the Year of the Horse, this project is a beautiful way to embrace the bold energy of the year.

No sewing experience is required. Your teacher will guide you step-by-step through the construction process, with plenty of hands-on support.

In this workshop you will:

  • Learn how to work with waxed canvas and leather accents
  • Construct and line a durable zippered bag
  • Gain practical sewing skills you can use for future projects

Please note: Spots are strictly limited in this session to ensure each participant gets personal attention and support.
