Gah! Don’t you even know dignity when you see it? Join us for a boozy night of Simpsons painting, quotes and cheeky banter and soon you’ll be churning out portraits worthy of Webster’s. Melbourne’s own Carla Scotto bastardises the art of our favourite Springfieldians, and she’s here to share her tips, tricks, and Duffs with you. Bring a mate, bring a date, or come solo and bond over your favourite jaundiced character. This is an acrylic and mixed media workshop encouraging uninhibited experimentation, so you’re at liberty to give Jesus wheels if you like. Or produce painting after painting of Ringo Starr. Expand your brain with learning juice and become more than just a nut who couldn’t build a barbecue.

Carla Scotto

Carla Scotto is a graphic-designer-slash-illustrator, former emo, vitriolic towards waste and in a state of constant existential and artistic angst. She’s fun. She’s been drawing since she could clutch a pencil and graduated from Shillington College of Design in 2015. Carla loathes unnecessary waste and is on a mission to condemn single-use plastic and shout about conscious reductionism. This theme is heavily explored in her Neopets-inspired graphics, combining cute and confronting in one hit.
