• 5/5 from Ashlee Grose, attended Nov 2024: We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Play with Clay class hosted by Gemma for my sister's hens party at the start of November. She perfectly matched the vibes of the group with the music, the amount of guidance that she gave and the pacing of the class, and was just amazing. There was a big mix of ages in attendance but everyone loved it and was way more engrossed than I expected them to be - multiple guests said how they found the clay class much more approachable and fun than paint n sips they'd done in the past, so I highly recommend it if you've got a mix of artistic abilities and/or people that don't usually do creative hobbies. We were able to make one clay item using imprints of a variety of leaves, which all turned out so beautiful, and then Gemma showed us how to mix different colours of clay and how to make 3D sculptures, so everyone had the option of mixing techniques and different designs. The fact that the clay is air dry meant that we were able to take them all with us on the day and leave them in the minibus to dry while we did other activities, but the studio does offer to hold on to them for you if you need, which is really kind. Being able to bring our own food and drink and store it in their fridge was super helpful and a nice bonus, and the space itself had plenty of room for mingling and socialising while everyone snacked and caught up at the end of the class. The fact that they provide a link to download all of the photos and videos taken by the host during the class is such a nice feature, too! Highly recommend this studio and the clay class and Gemma as a host, everyone had a wonderful experience from start to finish!

We were able to bring our own snacks and drinks, but everything else was provided. We want to go back and try the Paint in the Dark as that class looked like a lot of fun too! Thanks Gemma and team for such a wholesome time - would definitely recommend to others!

We had fun playing with clay - initially making a leaf inspired creation and then letting our imagination take us to ear-rings, gum nuts and a snake! A lot of fun and great teachers. Can highly recommend for an afternoon out. Don't forget the wine and nibbles!

The materials were all provided and easy to ask for more if we ran out of clay! I was able to make three different pieces (and realistically could have made one more) and I love them all! Had a fantastic time and would love to go again for a different class! Highly recommend to go with a friend and having a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon!

Their Port Melbourne venue always provides stimulating classes that’s why I enjoy returning as each class provides a unique experience This creative and decorative clay craft you can easily replicate at home once you’ve made a few leaves. I found the entire process very relaxing and also very addictive. I could easily have continued a couple more hours so I would highly recommend this class to anyone.

Although there didn’t look to be a lot of clay it was enough to make multiple items. Venue was easy to find with adequate parking & this could be advertised on website. Had a very enjoyable afternoon.

This was something new for me and was easy to pick up with all the tips and techniques shared. Can’t wait to hang my beautiful decorative clay leaves up!

A new concept for me and found it quite therapeutic using my hands to shape the clay using leaves as stencils. Revi is a great teacher and there is plenty of time to make a few clay pieces. Relaxed class for all abilities with some great music as a background. Venue is easy to get to by public transport. Would recommend as a new craft to try.

I learnt new techniques and revisited some nostalgic ones from childhood that were long forgotten! Instructions were clear and well-paced, and materials were plentiful. I made several beautiful leaf 'bowls' and will be recommending this workshop to my friends.
