I enjoyed this course. I found the pace of the learning exercises at the start a little quick and there were less ‘little lessons’ than in a previous class I’ve done. Overall however it was enjoyable and I was happy with the outcome!

What a fabulous way to spend a Saturday afternoon at home! Ali was a terrific teacher, she has an excellent teaching style, is patient and also lots of tips to help the novice water colour painter! Thank you Ali for the session, I could do one of these weekly from home even when not in lockdown, so relaxing and enjoyable.

Ali was lovely and so helpful! I’ve painted before but never with a palette knife so I was so keen to try and I’m really happy with the result! It was a great night out for my girlfriend and I, we want to come back and do the partners painting with our husbands! Highly recommend!

My friends and I loved our class! The teacher was great and very patient with everyone. She explained the process very clearly and by the end of the class we were all confident in doing our own watercolour pictures. Both the location and venue were good, really easy to find and plenty of parking. I also liked the variety of dates to choose from. Can’t wait to do more classes!

Loved this class, really relaxed atmosphere and the facilitator encouraging your own pace and giving free reign on creativity. I did this with a girl friend and we both had fun, the 3 hours went by so quickly! Venue was great with some amazing cocktails.

It was great to finally paint at the Gas Works again after a long time in lockdown. Very beneficial to receive assistance from Nikki snd to see what others are doing as you learn by seeing what others do. The birds were twisting the tempo just right the painting was amazing and so different to paint with a palette knife.

I had a lot of fun in this class, I stepped out of my comfort zone (i’d usually draw in pencil first bit outline in paint) and I had a few moments but it all worked out in the end. The teacher and support were lovely with access to all information in written notes also. My favourite part was seeing everyone else’s at the end. Although we’d all followed the same process they were all completely + more
