It was something completely different for me to do, and I really enjoyed the opportunity to learn a new skill. The 2.5-hour sessions gave us plenty of time to get hands-on and develop our techniques each week. It was fun, creative and rewarding to see how much we learned over the course. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to try something new and enjoy a relaxed, creative experience.

The class was enjoyable, with a good camaraderie amongst the classmates.

The class had a great mix of skill levels, and the atmosphere was relaxed but inspiring. Our instructor was knowledgeable, attentive, and clearly passionate about the craft. They offered thoughtful guidance without hovering, and I really appreciated the useful tips on improving consistency and form. The studio setup was excellent — spacious, well-equipped, and stocked with quality tools and clay. Everything was clean, organized, and ready to go when we arrived, which made it easy to just dive in and focus on the work. What I liked most was the sense of community in the room — everyone was supportive and genuinely interested in learning from one another. It was the perfect way to spend a Monday evening, and I left feeling both relaxed and creatively recharged. Highly recommend for potters at any level.

Highly recommend to anyone from complete beginner to some experience (you can extend further/work on harder designs if the latter). Everything was prepared and explained really well so you could get into it fast. Jen was an absolute gem and helped as much as you wanted/needed!

Mahalia was a lovely and supportive teacher, and the students got to be creative and lean new skills on the wheel. She was happy to improve technique and suggest new ideas to help us over the weeks! Love the Art Department and the space that has been so lovingly created!
