Lesson 1 – Basic Watercolour Techniques
You will learn how to control water and pigment through wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques. They will practise soft edges, sharp edges, gradients, and simple washes.
Lesson 2 – Dry Brush and Texture
Explore dry-on-dry and dry-on-wet techniques to create texture and movement.
Lesson 3 – Glazing, Lifting and Salt Effects
Explore different techniques like glazing, lifting, and salt effects.
Lesson 4 – Colour Mixing and Colour Wheel
You will learn the colour wheel, warm and cool colours, and how to mix natural watercolour palettes.
Lesson 5 – Tonal Value, Hue and Contrast
Practise light, mid-tone, and dark values to create depth and dimension.
Lesson 6 – Introduction to Flowers
Paint loose watercolour flowers using soft washes, petal shapes, and natural colour blending.
Lesson 7 – Introduction to Landscape
You will learn basic landscape structure including sky, trees, mountains, distance, and atmosphere.
Lesson 8 – Introduction to Seascape
Explore ocean colours, waves, reflections, wet sand, and horizon lines.
Lesson 9 – Introduction to Cityscape
Learn simple perspective, building shapes, shadows, and urban atmosphere
Lesson 10 – Introduction to Portrait
Finally, you will learn basic face proportions, soft shading, skin tone mixing, and expressive features.
