What you'll do
In this two-day workshop for beginners (Monday 25th & Tuesday 26th March), you'll have the opportunity to learn the basics of creating beautiful mosaic pieces. On the first day, you'll have the choice of creating either 4 x pots or 2 x pots and a bee bath. With guidance and support, you'll carefully glue the pieces together, setting the foundation for your mosaic masterpiece.
Don't worry if you're new to this craft - our workshop is designed to be fun and engaging, perfect for those taking their first steps into the world of mosaics. You'll be amazed at how quickly you'll pick up the techniques and feel your creative spark ignite!
- Day one: (10am-2pm) Create your chosen pieces - 4 x pots or 2 x pots and a bee bath
- Day two: (10am-12pm) Return to grout, clean, and polish your creations to perfection
Working with a variety of colourful tiles and glass pieces, you'll experience the joy of seeing your vision come to life in each mosaic artwork. The process can be both relaxing and invigorating, as you focus on each placement and watch your design take shape.
By the end of the workshop, you'll not only have learned the fundamentals of mosaic art but also have beautifully finished pieces to take home and proudly display. Get ready to unleash your creativity in this enriching and hands-on activity!
