Hi, I’m the cake lover behind A Caking Hand.My love for cakes started when I decided to make my own wedding cake (yes, you heard right, crazy, I know!). At the time, I had zero decorating experience and couldn’t afford the cake of my dreams, so I threw myself into a few cake-decorating classes, cake books, and many late nights on YouTube, learning the basics. I was instantly hooked and obsessed with the craft. Since then, I’ve been completely self‑taught — making all of my kids’ birthday cakes, desserts for family gatherings, and cakes as a side hustle alongside my day job.Now I want to give back and make cake decorating feel possible for beginners, too. If I can do it from scratch, anyone with a bit of curiosity can as well. My workshops are relaxed, friendly, and very hands‑on, with plenty of one‑on‑one support so you can walk out with a cake you’re genuinely proud of.
