I enjoyed the drawing class and found the explanations and guidance given by the tutor to be very clear and useful. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly which really helps learning. I would highly recommend this class.

Mentative Art was easy to locate and had a coffee shop nearby (essential in a cold Melbourne morning!) Effie had it all prepared and gave me options to help me settle. I liked how I had a few things to concentrate on and Effie observed and stepped in when I was ready for / needing new information. It was a lovely balance of feeling capable while stretching my knowledge - super lesson! Thank you. I’m very proud of my work and eager to continue.

The prompts provided gave me something to work towards and the instructor showed me how to start then build up the design and add shading. She also helped me to understand perspective to bring the drawing to life. I will definitely be doing another class.
