My name is Andrea and I am a ceramic artist and teacher in Umina Beach on the beautiful Central Coast of NSW. I fell in love with ceramics in 2019, when I took my first classes as a hobby, which quickly became a lot more than that. In 2023, I started teaching ceramics at a local ceramic art school and have loved teaching pottery ever since. I love engaging with my students and people who just want to have their hands on the clay for a little while and enjoy doing something different from their daily lives. I am involved in an independent art gallery on the Central Coast, where I also run workshops every now and then. As a ceramic artist, I focus on unique one-off ceramics, both hand-built and wheel-thrown.

Besides my small ceramic business making my own ceramics, I offer on-location clay parties, where I teach hand-building techniques, no experience needed.

I greatly enjoy teaching and making. I am engaging, encouraging, and curious about people and their stories. And I really love watching the process unfold, from getting your hands on the clay for the first time to the final, often surprising creation.
