Arezou Hamed

Hi there! I’m Arezou, and I am so excited to welcome you into my creative world. My journey with art began 15 years ago, but my true obsession with modern papier-mâché started during a pivotal moment when I realized how incredibly versatile, sustainable, and beautiful this medium could be. While most people associate paper mache with school classrooms and messy newspaper strips, I fell in love with it as a sophisticated sculptural tool. By transforming humble recycled paper into elegant, stone-like home decor, I found a way to blend sustainability with high-end, wabi-sabi aesthetics. I started my business because I wanted to show the world that you don't need expensive kilns or massive studios to create stunning, durable sculptures, vases, and functional art pieces. There is a deep, meditative joy in molding tactile pulp with your hands, and I wanted to share that grounding experience with others. Why I Love TeachingFor me, the absolute best part of teaching is watching the "lightbulb moment" happen for my students. Many people arrive at my workshops saying, "I’m not creative at all, " or "I haven't done art since primary school." By the end of our sessions, those exact same people are holding beautiful, textured, gallery-worthy pieces that they made entirely from scratch. I love guiding students step-by-step, removing the fear of making mistakes, and helping them rediscover their inner artist in a warm, relaxed environment. My Experience & BackgroundI studied fine art and graphic design, which gives me a unique professional perspective on structural design, color harmony, and surface finishes. I started teaching art 12 years ago, and since then, I have had the privilege of working with various students from different age groups. Over the years, I have honed my skills across multiple creative disciplines to blend technical precision with artistic freedom. I have designed my masterclasses to ensure that even complete beginners get a flawless, professional-grade result they are incredibly proud to display at home.
