Get your foodie passport ready! Do you want to get away to another country but can't due to travel restrictions? Learn how to cook fabulous and beautiful creations inspired by cuisines around the world in this Brisbane cooking class!

Around the World Menu (available gluten-free and dairy-free):

  • Authentic empanadas from Argentina - made from our Chef's very own traditional recipe
  • Zingy onion bhajis from India
  • French focused delectable duck braised in ras el hanout and star anise, served with Moroccan spiced carrot puree OR mysterious Moroccan lamb shoulder with date, lemon and pistachio gravel
  • Death by chocolate brownie OR creme brûlée with tappy, tap sugar

The class will cover both cooking skills and the art of presentation across a range of moods and styles. You will learn the art of culinary bling which is very chef-y, very easy and very impressive! Join us in sampling an array of cooking techniques and flavours from around the world.

These classes are suitable for all levels of passionate foodies whether you are just beginning, are intermediate, or consider yourself advanced. Enjoy an amazing meal and bring your camera to capture the moments! 

We offer hands-on cooking classes in a small group that are fun, informative and a great feast in a relaxed and fun environment. Each class is a three-hour session run by an experienced chef that will guide you through the process of creating delicious meals. There is no individual workspace but you will work in small groups of up to four people to make the dishes off the menu.

Please note: The menu is based on available seasonal produce and is subject to change at the experience provider's discretion. You will work and cook together as a team and share a workspace and the kitchen equipment with other participants. A group cooking session with partial group participation is the most effective and fun way to add to your cooking skills. To ensure the class finishes on time some elements of the dishes are demonstrated.

Note: Groups of four or more guests will get their own private table. Support Workers must book and pay to enter. Please book the Support Worker as a Youth ticket.

the teacher was great - i think people felt engaged with her class. However I was not overly happy with the set up of the deep fryers. They were open to the group and anyone could approach and use them at any time. Also an oven was under the fryers and at one stage I saw ducks being taken out of the oven while the fryers were in use above. My daughter in law got a small burn from splatter of the oil up her arms. I just think the safety around those fryers was not up to scratch.

What a fantastic night. Chef Lucy was amazing and so insightful. I actually attended alone but was placed with an amazing team who were so much fun. We all enjoyed the night and the food was amazing. I encourage anyone or group to book it was a fun night.

We had a great evening and a lot of fun was had by all.

Particularly enjoyed making the Empanadas. Perhaps this was because we couldn't help but be inspired by Lucy's enthusiasm! It was lovely that she could share some of her own culture to the class.

The class was well organised and it was great to try out a number of different cooking techniques.

We had a fantastic experience and our instructor was great in the way she explained the different styles of food preparations and ingredients used and where around the world they came from. Sharing the cooking preparations with other people at our table we thought was a great way to enjoy the exercise of putting it all together to create a wonderful meal. As a result of doing that we are going to do another cooking course with the same people. I would not hesitate to recommend this experience.
