Baghlava Making and Decoupage Coaster Workshop

A delicious blend of creativity and culture

3.5 hours Class size 1 to 20 guests

$120 (Afterpay & PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Experience an unforgettable afternoon where soulful baking and mindful crafting come together, a celebration of Persian culture, handmade beauty and shared joy.
This one-of-a-kind workshop invites you to explore two art forms:
1. Learn the secrets of delicate Persian baghlava from Chef Hamed, author of SALAMATI and a passionate storyteller of Persian cuisine. With his warm guidance, you’ll create your own tray of this golden, syrup-kissed delicacy, layered with crushed nuts and tradition.
2. Then, you'll learn how to decoupage a one-of-a-kind coaster guided by Fera, artist and founder of Queen Koala Studio. Using intricate patterns, layering techniques, and your own creative flair, you’ll make something that’s both functional and deeply personal.
As you create, you’ll also be treated to a spread of traditional Persian sweets and delights, lovingly prepared by Chef Hamed.
And to close the experience, you’ll sit down for a beautiful moment of reflection. Sipping warm tea with your handmade baghlava, placing your cup on the coaster you just created. A quiet, joyful ritual - made entirely by you.
What you'll get
  • Homemade Persian baghlava to enjoy or share
  • A beautiful handmade coaster
  • A taste of Persian hospitality
  • Creative inspiration and warm connections

I’m Fera, a decoupage artist based on a small farm where creativity and nature meet. What started as a simple passion for transforming everyday objects has grown into a way of slowing down, creating with intention, and sharing meaningful experiences with others.
In my workshops, I guide you step by step to create your own unique decoupage piece in a calm, inspiring environment. It’s more than crafting it’s about connection, creativity, and taking a beautiful pause from everyday life.
Sometimes, that experience is enriched by life on the farm, homemade Persian flavours, and a glimpse into my world of animals and simple living
