Something a little witchy is coming to Bead & Sip...
For one night only, we're adding a little magic and mystery to our usual Bead & Sip experience.
With a drink in hand and the witchy vibes strong, we'll kick things off with a fun and simple introduction to tarot, before getting stuck into making your own one-of-a-kind witchy charm and bracelet.
Choose from a collection of rescued, handcrafted and upcycled beads, charms and cords to create something uniquely you. Think crystals, charms, strange little treasures and plenty of witchy energy.
Come solo or with your favourite witchy gals, dress up with a little touch of witch (optional) and settle in for a night of making, chatting, sipping and playing.
Optional cocktail upgrade:
Your ticket includes a complimentary wine or soft drink on arrival, but if you’re feeling a little extra witchy, you can upgrade to our special Halloween cocktail at checkout. A fruity green concoction of white rum, Midori and pineapple juice.

Join us for Bead and Sip, a relaxed evening of creativity, connection, and making something unique with your hands using gorgeous upcycled beads.
In your first design, you'll create a beaded bag charm. You will be guided through simple finishes like clasps and wirework.
Then, if you’re feeling inspired, you can move on to a second piece like a bracelet or phone accessory.
This event aims to create a space for you to slow down, sip something nice, and enjoy a creative night out without pressure.
Come with your mum, a friend, or just yourself. All are welcome.

I’m Ashleigh, founder of Con Cariño — a pop-up makers bar for the playful, the sentimental, and the beautifully chaotic. Based in the south-eastern suburbs of Naarm/Melbourne, Con Cariño grew from my love of teaching, travelling, and bringing people together through creativity.
After spending two years travelling the world, it became clear to me that feel-good memories were always rooted in connection and play. That feeling is what I aim to recreate through Con Cariño workshops. Spaces to slow down, create freely, and enjoy the process without pressure.
I also have 15 years of experience in education, and I am still casually teaching while raising my baby. I love teaching because I love learning. Everyone brings a story, a perspective, a skill, or a spark, and I’m endlessly inspired by what unfolds when people are given the space to create together.
Finally, sustainability is at the heart of Con Cariño. All materials are locally sourced or rescued second-hand, giving forgotten pieces a new lease on life and helping you create something unique.
I hope to create something meaningful together.
