5/5 from Julie Luckman, attended Jul 2026: A very enjoyable afternoon doing paint and sip stencil on canvas.
5/5 from Cody Johnson, attended Jun 2026: It was nice and great, interesting and calming all in one. Went here for a birthday, neither of us are painters or very artistic but we had a great time and by the end I felt the appeal in painting as a hobby and an artistic outlet. Our class DID however randomly have a pack of 5 or so kids (like 10yo?) dropped off without a parent and they started chanting randomly during the paint. Having kids around during a BYO is very weird.

5/5 from Agnes Veronica, attended Nov 2025: The class was really fun and interactive. Michelle did an amazing job teaching us how to paint a sunset. I’ve never painted in my life and definitely do not have an artistic bone in my body (or so I thought!) but we all came out with beautiful paintings. So well worth it I will definitely come back again and do more.
5/5 from Stephanie Yeong, attended Nov 2025: This was the perfect outing for a Hen's party. We all had a great time. This is perfect for anyone who has no artistic skills. My painting ended up as a sunset....haha!! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

5/5 from Claudia Alvarenga, attended Sep 2025: I recently attended a painting class with Michelle, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I walked in, Michelle was friendly and approachable, making it easy for everyone to feel comfortable. She explained each step clearly, which was incredibly helpful. What I enjoyed most was her ability to provide ideas and suggestions, along with a variety of color options to choose from. I painted a sunflower, and despite my limited artistic ability, I had a fantastic time! This was my second class, and each time has been better than the last. I would rate this experience a solid 10/10! I highly recommend this class to anyone, regardless of your artistic talent. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you'll have a lot of fun and create something beautiful. I loved every moment of it and can't wait to paint again!

I'm a Brisbane-based artist, and I've been painting and drawing since my early childhood days. I was fortunate to receive a scholarship from the Queensland Art Gallery, which gave me ample opportunity to pursue my passion and hone my skills.I'm very much inspired by the beauty and diversity of Australia. Many of my paintings focus on landscapes, surrealism, animals, and people. North Queensland is a particular favorite, and you'll see the influence of coral seas and mountain landscapes throughout my artwork. I have a post-impressionist style through which I try to capture the wonder of the world around us.I specialize in pastel on card and acrylic on canvas, though I'm also experimenting with abstract and airbrush.I've been fortunate enough to display my work in many art exhibitions and have been the recipient of many prizes and awards.I offer Paint and Sip sessions along with Clay and Sip sessions, both at discounted rates for ClassBento Patrons. I believe in bringing these experiences to the customer at the very best competitive price possible, the real Australian Way. We have the largest range of paintings available with over 80 paintings on the gallery page of Wesley Taylor Art Studios, with the painting for each week found on the web page.We hope you enjoy these sessions for a fun experience. The paintings are creative for maximum impact of colors, while keeping in mind first-time painting experiences. Those with a little more practice will create some amazing pieces.Let us plan your special events!“Everyone has an artistic flair and simply needs to be pointed in the right direction."The Wesley Taylor Art Studios Mission initially set out to create workshops at half the cost of other workshops for customers to be able to enjoy the experience of creating a piece of artwork. This endeavor was to create the foundation of employing artists with a like-minded sense of assisting customers to enjoy this time out while creating new art experiences. The goals of value for money for customers and employment for artists to run these fun activities that may mark a milestone, a birthday, a hen's party, a social activity, a first date, or company team-building events to build and strengthen relationships with a common bond of creating something new.
