Recent reviews of Expressive Painting Workshop: Paint It Out
- 5/5 from Lisa Apps, attended Oct 2024: My friend and I, had a wonderful time expressing ourselves through Art! We had a great teacher who was so helpful and knowledgeable. Beautiful, relaxing venue! We would totally recommend!
- 5/5 from Beck Keep, attended Sep 2022: Wow! What a way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Going in I had little idea what to expect and what we experienced was more than I could have hoped for. The studio and all supplies provided were wonderful but mostly it was Kaz that made the day so special. The way she told us of her art journey, how it has helped her process her emotions and her passion for helping us was incredible. I was about to drop all outcome based ideas I was holding onto and really let myself go on the canvas. Thanks for much for an afternoon of freedom, open conversations and fun. It was just what I needed
- 5/5 from Sandra Katon, attended Jul 2019: Karen was a great inspiration. First art experience and can say won’t be the last. Very relaxed setting & very well organised f welcomed from the moment I arrived. Would thoroughly recommend this class.
Your teacher
Artist by heart, Graphic Designer by trade, illustrator of Phoebe... I love art and design! Creativity is a gift that needs to be shared with the world to make it a better place so that is why I want to share my knowledge and experience with you. I have been a Graphic Designer & illustrator for over 30 years, and an artist all my life. Drawing huge faces in pastel or charcoal (love charcoal...), pencil portraits (faces and animals), creating crazy characters, expressive painting on big canvases using masses of colour and even expressive writing are what I LOVE to do most. Recently I wrote, illustrated and published my very first book featuring a collection of illustrations and stories about my character Phoebe. So excited about this as every book sold will be helping to fund the WASH House, a not for profit organisation in Western Sydney resourcing and helping women. I hope to do more to help and inspire women to be who they are meant to be and to do what they love!
