In this class, you will delve into the ancient Japanese technique of stencil dyeing, known as Katazome and create stunning fabric pieces to take home.
This workshop is designed for beginners and our experienced teacher will guide you through each step, ensuring you feel confident and inspired.
All the necessary materials will be provided, including dye materials and a selection of scarves, tea towels or a linen bag for you to choose from. If you'd like to bring additional items, lightweight cotton or natural fabrics work best.
By the end of the workshop, you'll have a solid foundation in Katazome and a hand-dyed fabric piece to cherish.
