  • 5/5 from Cheryl Gibbs, attended Apr 2025: Hannah, the Tutor was very knowledgable about the subject since her mother has been making Kombucha since Hannah was a child. She was able to answer all of the questions raised by the ladies in the group. She had samples of what we can make available and we all received a take home pack which included our own Scoby to start us on our way. I brewed mine up the same day I brought it home and am just waiting the 5-7 sayd for it to be ready to flavour.
  • 4/5 from Stacey Shields, attended Apr 2025: Class was very informative and I was given opportunity to ask questions. Hannah did a demonstration of the process, provided us with a step by step paper copy of the process, as well as giving each of us all the things we need to make our first batch. We were given six different Kombucha brews to taste which were as fantastic. Hannah was very knowledgeable and workshop was a friendly learning environment.
  • 4/5 from Elizabeth Ann, attended Apr 2025: This was a relaxed and low key short class that provided the basics of kombucha knowledge plus a take home kit with scone to make your own forever! The class was more observational and discussion than ‘hands on’, it would be great to see it incorporate the opportunity for participants to put the ingredients together themselves, but we definitely came away with enough information and the supplies to DIY at home.

  • 5/5 from Peita-Lee Heywood, attended Nov 2024: The kombucha class was short but informative. Hana gave us some history on Kombucha and other interesting facts on the uses of the SCOBY. We came away with a little gift bag of everything needed to start making kombucha including a SCOBY. The place was easy to find, easy to park and the space had air-conditioning which was welcome during the hot day. It was interesting and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone else. Thank you.

Hi, my name is Hana. With a central European background it is common for my family to do our own fermented foods. Whether it is home made Kombucha, Yoghurt, Kefir, Sauerkraut, Ginger Beer or Bread we tend to make our own ferments.
ONCE KOMBUCHA AND SOURDOUGH caught up in the mainstream, friends urged me to teach them how to make it. I started this initiative and since then I empower people to make their own home made fermented goodies.
As with anything that one does for a longer time I streamlined the process of making healthy quick organic Kombucha and healthy and relatively quick European style Sourdough. Now I teach my tried and tested quicker processes, which are still as effective, healthy and tasty as its alternatives.
Join me on this sweet and sour journey and become the next creator of your own fermented foods, helping your health in the process.
PS. Please check the workshops for available dates and if none suits you feel free to contact me for a private workshop.
I am looking forward to meeting you.
