Experience the art of stained glass in SE QLD and spend a full day creating your very own beautiful stained-glass panel using the traditional copper foiling method.
Choose your favourite design from our wide selection of templates, then bring it to life by selecting from a beautiful range of coloured glass. With guidance from your experienced teacher, you’ll learn each step of the stained-glass process, from scoring and cutting your glass, grinding and shaping each piece, applying copper foil, and carefully soldering your finished design together.
With just four participants in each workshop, you'll enjoy a relaxed and personal experience with plenty of individual guidance throughout the day. There’s time to ask questions, explore your creativity, and enjoy learning the craft without feeling rushed.
Your workshop will include morning tea, an afternoon tea break, and a lunch break. Please bring your own lunch to enjoy during the break.
Throughout the day, you’ll be guided through the complete process, including choosing your template and glass, cutting and grinding, copper foiling, soldering, attaching your hanging chain, colouring the solder, and finally cleaning and polishing your finished piece.
No previous stained-glass experience is necessary. Whether you're completely new to stained glass or simply looking to spend a creative day learning a new craft, you'll be supported every step of the way.
At the end of your 8-hour workshop, you'll take home your own handcrafted stained-glass panel, made by you from start to finish. A beautiful piece of art to display in your home or a truly special handmade gift for someone you love.
This intimate workshop is perfect for couples, friends, family members, or small groups of up to four people looking to share a creative experience together. It’s also a wonderful way to celebrate a birthday, special occasion, or simply spend a memorable day learning something new.

Hello, My Partner Sheree and I are the Owners of Luminous By Nature. We both found a passion for the art of Stained Glass some time ago, starting out with minimal tools and small market appearances to a full and busy studio from out of Our garage, selling retail products, making windows and conducting workshops on the art, here in Queensland and interstate throughout New South Wales. We are self taught and focus mainly on copper foiling, the Tiffany Method but also create pieces with the traditional leadlighting method as well.
We have invested in Our workshops in such a way that We are mobile and can conduct workshops anywhere that people may want one and have the appropriate space to do so.
We quite often are asked to create commission pieces, attend special market events and art exhibitions to conduct workshops. We have attended festivals as well.
Sheree and I are passionate about the luminosity of the glass We use, vintage and new styles, and Our business name derives from this aspect as well as what We believe to be the true human state of Being.
