Botanical Printing and Mark Making Workshop

I've spent my whole life making things.I grew up in my family's printing business, so creativity has always been part of everyday life. Over the years I've worked with screen printing, design, embroidery, signage and all kinds of creative projects, but I've always found myself drawn back to art simply because it makes people feel good.Opening Brisky Creations Art Studio was my way of creating the kind of space I wish more people had access to—a welcoming studio where anyone can have a go, regardless of experience. My philosophy is simple: Play, not perfection. I believe creativity isn't about producing a masterpiece; it's about slowing down, trying something new, having a laugh and surprising yourself.One of my favourite moments is watching someone walk in saying, "I'm not creative, " and seeing them leave a couple of hours later with a smile and something they're genuinely proud of. It happens far more often than people expect.I love teaching because every workshop is different. Some people come to learn a new skill, others are looking for a creative outlet, and many just want to spend quality time with friends or family. Whatever brings you through the door, I want you to leave feeling relaxed, inspired and a little more confident than when you arrived.Alongside running workshops, I continue to operate our family printing business, which has been serving businesses for decades. That practical, hands-on background means I love introducing people to printmaking techniques like screen printing and gel printing that they may never have tried before.My workshops are intentionally relaxed and beginner-friendly. You don't need to be artistic, you don't need any experience, and there are no expectations—just come along, play, experiment and enjoy the process.If you've ever thought, "I wish I was creative, " I'd love to prove you wrong.
