Q: Do I need any experience?
Not at all! This workshop is designed for complete beginners, and I'll guide you through every step of the process.
Q: What will I make?
You'll create the letters of your name (or a word of your choice) from polymer clay. You can then choose to turn them into a set of magnets or a framed piece of wall art.
Q: Do I take my project home on the day?
Your clay pieces will need to be baked at home, so you'll take them with you along with easy-to-follow instructions and everything needed to assemble your finished piece.
Q: What age is the workshop suitable for?
This workshop is suitable for ages 15+ attending independently. Children aged 12–14 are welcome when accompanied by a participating adult.
Q: Can I choose my own colours?
Absolutely! You'll have a range of polymer clay colours to choose from so you can create something that reflects your own style.
Q: Can I make a word instead of my name?
Yes! Whether it's your name, a family name, a favourite word or a short phrase, you're welcome to personalise your creation.
Q: Can I make magnets and a framed piece?
Unfortunately, not in the one workshop. To make sure everyone has enough time to create and finish their project, you'll choose either magnets or a framed piece. The good news is you don't need to decide when you book! Once you've finished creating your clay letters during the workshop, you can choose whether you'd like to turn them into magnets or display them in a frame. This way, you can see your finished design before deciding which option suits it best.

Welcome to Two Clay Hearts!My name is Hayley and I’m the designer and creator behind all the pieces made at Two Clay Hearts.I'm a Primary School Teacher from Brisbane, Australia and have a love for all things crafty. In fact, I originally began making earrings over 5 years ago as a hobby. It wasn’t until 2021, when I took a step back from full time work, that I decided to open my business and start teaching workshops as well.Over my 7 years working with Polymer Clay, I’ve developed a wide range of skills that I’m eager to teach to others. Although I’m new at hosting my own workshops, I’ve worked for others studios and had plenty of experience teaching my skills.
