Rediscover the art of embroidery, which has resurged in popularity for several compelling reasons. In today’s fast-paced world, finding solace in the simple act of stitching is a welcome escape. Embroidery offers a meditative experience, allowing you to momentarily detach from worldly worries and refocus on life’s essentials. Learning the invaluable skill of slowing down and embracing solitary moments is a remarkable boon for your mental well-being.
My classes embrace a modern approach that brings new life to this timeless art form. Talented artists like Sue Spargo and the Australian sensation Wendy Williams have paved the way for a reimagined embroidery experience. You’ll learn how to use contemporary stitches to craft stunning effects that can elevate any project you undertake.
My 3-part Embroidery Series, Here's what you can expect:
Class 1: Embroidery Essentials Discover the basics of modern embroidery, including essential stitches and techniques that lay the foundation for your creative journey.
Class 2: Textures and Techniques Explore a variety of stitches that add depth and texture to your work, transforming your projects into captivating pieces of art.
Class 3: Creating Your Masterpiece Bring together all your newfound skills to create a beautiful sampler that reflects your creativity and mastery of modern embroidery.
By the end of this series, you'll not only have a deeper understanding of embroidery techniques but also a stunning sampler that you've crafted with care.
