Our studio is located at the back of the complex, so it's easier to enter via the driveway at 11 Canberra Street. Look for the open roller door.
Q: How hard is it to care for a closed terrarium?
Closed terrariums are surprisingly easy to care for! ???? They create their own little ecosystem, so once they’re set up, you’ll only need to add a light mist of water every now and then. The rest is just sitting back and watching nature do its thing.

What to bring
A box to take your terrarium home in, so it doesn't tip over during the car ride home (approx 20cm x 20cm). If you are gifting your terrarium, a gift box can be purchased on the day for an additional $6.

Hi, I’m Trish — wife, mum, creative soul, and plant-loving people person behind Leaf Jars. I’ve always had a passion for helping people and teaching, but my love of plants really grew during a tough season of life. Playing with plants gave me a sense of calm, helped channel my anxiety, and slowly transformed my home into a place filled with life and beauty. I didn’t start out with a green thumb — in fact, I used to joke about being a “plant killer” — but with patience and practice I learned, and that journey is what I love to share with others.When I opened my grow studio, moving into terrarium workshops felt like the perfect next step. Teaching beginners to slow down, create, and connect with nature has been such a gift. My favourite moment is seeing someone walk in saying “I’m not creative” or “I can’t keep plants alive” — and leaving with a terrarium they can’t stop smiling at, plus the confidence to care for it.For me, Leaf Jars is more than plants. It’s about creating little pockets of calm, sparking creativity, and reminding people that growth is a journey — and you don’t need to have it all figured out to enjoy it.And when I’m not in the studio, you’ll usually find me with my “boys” (my husband and son), playing with my fur baby Baxter, enjoying coffee with family or friends… or following every Formula 1 race (I’m a true F1 tragic!). ️
