I’ve loved art and craft for as long as I can remember. Growing up without a television, my siblings and I spent our days creating our own fun, experimenting with colours, textures, and imagination. That early love of making has stayed with me throughout my life.I am a registered teacher and school counsellor with many years of experience facilitating art-for-wellbeing programs and group sessions for children and young people in schools, as well as adult wellbeing retreat days. These experiences give participants the chance to re-energise through mindfulness, and creative activities, with opportunities to pause, connect with others, and simply slow down.In my work, I use art and craft as a tool for mindfulness, creativity, and self-expression. I’ve seen firsthand how working with your hands can calm the mind, spark joy, and build confidence.I delight in sharing that joy with others. In my classes, you can expect a supportive, relaxed, and inspiring environment where you can explore your creativity, learn new skills, and leave with something beautiful you’ve made yourself.
