What you'll do

Order your favourite beverage at our cafe and the friendly staff will take your order and bring it up. Head up to the workshop room upstairs.
Intro to Materials - Black Ink and Sticks
You will get introduced to a variety of materials you'll be working with, such as sticks, feathers, wispy leaves, old toothbrushes and a calligraphy brush.
You'll also get a demonstration on inking techniques and the unique mark-making qualities each tool brings.
Mark-making Exploration
Explore mark-making techniques, practise ink flow and control and draw native botanicals as our reference.
Colour Mixing with Acrylic Inks
Add colour to your drawings. Using a calligraphy brush, we will explore various techniques with vibrant acrylic inks.
Combining Black Ink and Vibrant Colour
Further play and exploration combining the 2 techniques and medium.
Admire Your Artwork
Take photos with your creation and leave with an unique artwork you can be proud of!

Foraged sticks and found objects turn these into pieces I share with the world in the hope that it too sparks joy and reminds us to slow down and be present. I love connecting and sharing my practice with others in a relaxing setting where we explore my "stick n dip" technique and allow yourself permission to play.
