Recent reviews of Macrame Plant Hanger Class
- 5/5 from Kate Martin, attended Nov 2025: This was a fantastic beginners class. Teacher was super friendly, explained things so well and is very talented! Loved it!
- 5/5 from Suzanne Bell, attended Oct 2025: Great class. The instructor was very knowledgeable and patient and made sure I came home with a finished piece. I had never tried macramé before. I would recommend this class.
- 5/5 from Karen McAuliffe, attended Sep 2025: Such a brilliant class. Teacher was lovely and friendly and so incredibly patient. Also, adaptive teaching style, if I didn’t understand she tried a different way of explaining it until I did. Came away from it feeling so much more confident and inspired. Fun to do on your own, with a friend or as a group. Cute, cosy little setup as well. Would highly recommend.
Your teacher
Macrame has been my creative escape since 2020. My love for plants first inspired me to try macrame, creating hangers to display them, and it quickly grew into a full creative passion. We share our classes at Cosy Couch Yarn Store in Redcliffe and studio, Brisbane. What started as a relaxing hobby became a deep passion, not just for creating, but for sharing. I love guiding others to discover the joy of making something with their own hands, the calm that comes from slowing down, and the pride in seeing a project come to life. Teaching this craft isn’t just about skills, it’s about connection, creativity, and passing on a love that never ends.
