What you'll do
In this workshop, Mikiko will talk about the concept and history of Ikebana, which is a Japanese floral arrangement. She will show you basic Ikebana and also creative contemporary Ikebana.After you see her demonstration, now comes the fun part: making your own Ikebana! You will first create a basic Ikebana and then, you will make your own large creative Ikebana with fresh flowers and driftwood. It would be about 60cm long and you will proudly be able to take it home afterwards.Suitable for all beginners, Mikiko will guide you through the process, making sure you feel at ease as you discover the art of Ikebana arranging.
