Recent reviews of Hatchet Hammer Making Class
- 5/5 from Jared Paul Evans, attended Feb 2025: Highly recommend. Class was engaging and helpful and knowledgeable teacher
- 5/5 from Andrea Luo, attended Dec 2024: Gifted this class to my partner and he had heaps of fun, I got to watch and occasionally help out as well. Our instructor Shane was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable and we came out of the class with a pretty good axe despite having no previous metalworking experience.
- 5/5 from Alexey Marakhovich-Maslow, attended Sep 2024: My son enjoyed this class very much. The teacher is very knowledgeable. The venue has three rooms with different machines to learn about and try to use for different works. All materials for this workshop were provided. As a bonus, parents can be present at the workshop for free. Additionally, Shane and Cas accommodated our schedule request to make the class at a time that was convenient for us. My son can't wait to have another workshop at Savage Custom Knives.
- 5/5 from Joanne Tye, attended Dec 2023: An outstanding experience. The workspace was very safe, the instruction was provided at a pace that suited my learning, I finished the course with a set of new skills as well as a great tool to take home!
- 5/5 from Alison Strong, attended Jul 2023: Nick was an awesome teacher, knowledgeable, engaging, organised and fun. The workshop is well setup. We felt supervised and safe at all times. We were impressed by what we achieved for being complete novices. Highly recommend. We’d do it again.
