Bedazzle Your Own Frame Experience

Mosaic a frame with bear & friends creative club

2 hours Experience size 5 to 10 guests       $20 (PayPal Pay in 4 available)

Join us for a fun and relaxing afternoon of creativity!
In this Creative Club session, you’ll decorate your very own picture frame using beads, shells, gems, trinkets, mosaic tiles, and all sorts of sparkly treasures.
Our Creative Club sessions are all about bringing people together to connect and create. We do things a little differently from a typical workshop—focusing on curating a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere. Each session is held outdoors, with tables dressed in cute floral cloths and surrounded by greenery, creating a space that feels welcoming and special.
We like to keep things flexible. We’ll start with some basic techniques, available templates, and a bit of info about the session. From there, you can draw inspiration by flipping through books, sketching ideas, or chatting with others about what you’d like to make. Once you’re ready, you can create at your own pace, with help available if you need it—but without rigid step-by-step instructions.
Slow down, reconnect with your creativity, and find joy in making something with your hands. We use mostly recycled and reused materials—treasures collected from recycling centres, op shops, and generous donations—so every piece tells its own story.
All materials are provided, with plenty of bits and bobs to explore, so just bring yourself! Depending on the season, you can sip on a warm or iced tea while you create, and sometimes even enjoy a few small treats.
Whether you’re after a creative catch-up with friends, keen to meet other like-minded makers, or simply looking for something fun to do on a Sunday, this is for you.

Beanie Bear
Beanie Bear

Hi, I’m Jazmin Jade, the artist behind Beanie Bear! My work explores texture, colour, and storytelling through sculpture, painting, and mixed media. I’ve always been drawn to creating. Ever since I was little, I’d collect anything and everything, seeing ordinary objects as little treasures. A big turning point came during my first self-curated exhibition, when I realised how powerful it can be to share my imaginative world with others. That’s where Beanie Bear really began as an extension of my art practice, bringing creativity into events and shared experiences.
A big focus in my work is using preloved and recycled materials. I love giving new life to found objects, scraps, and things others might consider rubbish. There’s something so special about transforming what could have ended up in the bin into something beautiful, loved, and useful. Most of my Creative Club sessions are centred around this idea, with most materials being recycled. I hope to inspire people to experiment with recycled materials in their own lives and see the beauty in reimagining the things we already have.
I’m less about teaching and more about creating beautiful, welcoming spaces where people can play, explore, and make without pressure. I love seeing people let go of expectations, get a little messy, and reconnect with their creativity and inner child. I also want to create spaces where people can connect with others, create alongside each other, and feel inspired by the creativity around them. My sessions are built around openness, celebrating imperfection, experimentation, and self-expression in all forms.
My practice is rooted in emotion and nostalgia, often using soft textures and vibrant colours to build dreamlike, tactile worlds. I’ve exhibited across Meanjin/Brisbane, curated group shows, and completed an artist residency at House Conspiracy in West End.
Through Beanie Bear, I’ve been lucky to connect with so many emerging artists and creatives, building spaces where people feel seen, encouraged, and inspired to create. I hope to see you at a Beanie Bear event soon!
