In this class, you'll dive into fun art activities including mindful doodling to de-stress, exploring watercolour techniques and letting your paintbrush dance across your page to music. This workshop is designed to gradually release you into a creative flow state using watercolour as a mindfulness practice. The activities are accessible to all artistic abilities from beginners to the more experienced.
You’ll learn creative practices and mindfulness strategies you can continue as a relaxing activity at home, as well as creating some small items such as cards, postcards and hand-painted bookmarks. This is not about the final product though, but how you feel during the process of making it.
Activities rotate seasonally and new inspiration and techniques are added for regulars attendees.

Hi I’m Em Power Moore, an award winning art educator with 28 years experience teaching art and inspiring creative moments.

I studied Visual Arts Education at The University of Melbourne and I have a Masters in Arts Administration from RMIT.
I have spent 28 joyful years creating arts events and teaching art to primary and secondary students as well as other art teachers.
