Hello, I’m Carmen, founder of Table & Seasons, a Melbourne-based creative and styling business born from a lifelong love of beautiful tables, interiors, vintage finds and bringing people together.I have always loved creating beautiful spaces. It might be setting a table for a special occasion, styling a little corner of a home, finding an old piece and giving it a new life, or creating the setting for an intimate celebration. For me, the little details are often what make something memorable.Table & Seasons brings all of those things together through table and interior styling, small bespoke events, creative workshops and our Gather Around experiences.Gather Around grew very naturally from the same idea. I wanted to create workshops that were about more than learning a craft. They are an opportunity to sit around a beautifully styled table, make something with your hands, enjoy good food and conversation, and spend a few hours doing something a little different.I particularly love seeing people arrive saying, “I’m not creative, ” and then watching them leave with something they have made themselves and are genuinely proud of.My style is very much influenced by things with a little history and character. I love vintage china, silver, beautiful linens, flowers, seasonal decorating and mixing old pieces with new ones. I also believe you can create something beautiful without everything being perfect or expensive.Whether I am styling a table, an interior, a small celebration or hosting a workshop, the idea behind Table & Seasons is really quite simple: make it beautiful, make people feel welcome and enjoy the occasion.
