If you’ve been dreaming about trying the pottery wheel, we welcome you to join us. All skill levels are welcome, including complete beginners and those wishing to explore what our studio has to offer.
In this two-hour workshop, you’ll be guided by our knowledgeable and friendly teachers as you learn about the art of creating ceramic pieces on the pottery wheel.
Nestled in the heart of Northcote, our Melbourne ceramic studio is light-filled and welcoming, the perfect location to start your foray into clay. Equipped with all the necessary tools, equipment and unlimited clay, our class has everything you need to get started. Class sizes are capped at ten participants, allowing space for everyone to learn at their own pace.
By the end of the session, you will have learnt all about clay, using the pottery wheel and grown a newfound love for pottery. If you’d like to keep some pieces from the day, we charge $10 per piece, this covers the cost for our team to trim, glaze, fire and complete your works for you. You’ll be notified when they’re ready for pick-up.
If you’d like a full day of pottery fun, we welcome you to book into two separate session times on the same day, with a one hr break between classes. You’ll be welcome to use our studio kitchenette to warm up your lunch, have a cup of tea or toast a sandwich in our sandwich press and make yourself comfortable. Booking a double session will allow you more time to solidify your learning experience and have a fun-filled day of exploring clay.
We can’t wait for you to join us!
