Join us for our popular Chocolate Master Class in the gorgeous surrounds of Brooklyn Cocktail Bar.

On arrival we'll pop a bottle or two of Prosecco to get things rolling, as you sit down to enjoy two hours of chocolate tasting and learning - all the world's best of course.

Expect to try milk, dark, blonde and maybe even some cheeky white chocolate - and a quality most people haven't had before. You'll learn everything you never knew about chocolate, and have your chocolate lover mind blown by what good chocolate is.

Plus, Brooklyn Cocktail Bar will be whipping us up a stunning cocktail and you'll learn how to pair this with chocolate - not only will you come away a chocolate expert, but also well trained in the dark arts of chocolate and cocktail pairing!

What you'll learn about chocolate?

Not only will you eat great chocolate, but we'll take you on a journey of all things chocolate; from the fascinating history (including how chocolate as an aphrodisiac dates back to Aztec times), the process of turning a cocoa bean into artisan chocolate, the dark side of chocolate and why ethics matter, how to identify good chocolate - and the art of tasting chocolate using your five senses.

I've always been a chocoholic, however, in 2010 I attended a chocolate appreciation event, and had my eyes opened and my mind blown. I was shocked to realise I hadn’t been a chocoholic after all; I’d just been a Cadbury-oholic who occasionally dabbled in (what I later learnt are other mediocre) brands, but thought them special.

I began pursuing this passion for chocolate, researching and eating copious amounts of it. I love the discovery element of diverse and nuanced flavour of good chocolate, in the same way people explore whisky, wine, coffee or many other food stuffs.

And I love to share my love of chocolate. It took a long time to navigate life where I accepted this can be my 'thing' - that being a chocolate expert can be a job - and a huge thank you to every person over the years who told me they were swept up in my enthusiasm or felt taken on a journey of discovery when I talked chocolate.

It was seeing this response time and time again, and realising I kept coming back to this one driving force, that I took the plunge and launched Fiamma Chocolate to share my passion for exceptional chocolate with others.
