Q: Can I take it home on the day?
The answer is unfortunately no as your artwork/s will need to dry for a minimum of 24hours. We can organise a day and time within the following week for you to collect your artwork .
Q: What to wear?
Wear old clothes that you don't care if it gets resin on (resin doesn’t wash out). Aprons and gloves will be provided . Also no hanging clothes and maybe tie your hair back as resin is extremely difficult out get out of your hair. Plus maybe leave your good Jewellery at home.

Meet and greet and a warn welcome.
Come join us at 2a/19 Cotton St for a fun and creative event where you can make your own unique resin creations just in time for the holidays. Our workshop is perfect for beginners and seasoned crafters alike. Get into the festive spirit and create one-of-a-kind gifts or decorations for your home. Guests Will Be Provided With
We provide all the materials to make your choice of creation. You can choose your own moulds which will be ready for you to use, loads of glitter to choose from, mica powders and so on. Lot's and lot's of valuable information (I have over 5 years experience in resin plus I am an art therapist).
Finished Master Piece
You will be amazed at what you have created and get ready to receive orders from family and friends :).
- Workspace will be ready when you arrive. Materials like moulds, pigments, spreaders, gloves, and protective equipment will be provided.
- Prepare your moulds: Decorate your moulds with items like charms, beads, or flowers, if desired.
- You will be shown how to measure your resin and hardener
- You will be invited to mix it thoroughly: Stir the mixture slowly for a minimum of three minutes, scraping the sides and bottom of the cup to ensure an even consistency (similar to pancake batter).
- Add your colours: you will be provided with extra cups for you to mix in your desired pigments, Mica powders, glitter etc, to your resin (needs to be mixed until there are no 'lumps').
- Pour into moulds: you can then pour the coloured/glitter resin evenly into your prepared moulds.
- Remove bubbles: Gently pass a heat gun over the surface of the resin to pop any surface bubbles, keeping the torch moving to prevent damage.
- Inspect: Check the piece for any missed bubbles or dust with a toothpick before covering and allowing it to continue curing.
- Allow to cure: We will let the resin artwork sit for at least 24 hours to cure and harden completely.
Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 4 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.
