Clay and Sip Class: Life Model for Sculpting

Join our fun and interactive pottery class where you can unleash your creativity and discover the art of sculpting with clay. In this workshop, you will have a nude female life model to inspire you to mould and shape clay into beautiful form. No prior experience is needed, so just bring your enthusiasm and curiosity.You will be amazed at how quickly you can pick up the techniques and see your ideas come to life.Throughout the class, you will be working with high-quality materials and tools, allowing you to explore different textures and forms. This hands-on experience will not only be enjoyable but also therapeutic, giving you a chance to relax and immerse yourself in the creative process.By the end of the session, you will walk away with your own unique clay creation, ready to be displayed or gifted to a loved one. Don't miss out on this exciting activity that promises to be both educational and fulfilling! Take your piece home as an air-dry piece, or we have kiln firing services available as an option, and ceramic painting sessions where you can complete a finished glazed piece as optional extras.These sessions are a combination of different session types, sketch, or paint, or clay sculpture. This also helps so we get good numbers to run each session. Enjoy BYO optional, bring a glass of wine, cheese and biscuits while you create your sculpture in our beautiful studio.This exciting clay sculpture class is a great way to get out of your comfort zone and try something fun and new. Join us with your loved ones or come along solo for a truly memorable experience.This is an 18 plus age only event.These sessions are a combination of different session types, sketch, or paint, or clay sculpture. This also helps so we get good numbers to run each session.LIfe model session with Clay Torso. We will have sketch pads, where we offer you can do a sketch first before commencing the clay piece. You can either take your piece home to air dry, or we offer kiln firing service which is $15 for up to 12cm wide and height limit of mug. We also have ceramic paint sessions where you can come back to paint and glaze, those sessions are only $15 if booked 3 days before, then plus $15 for the second glaze firing. You can decide at end of session if you wish to take your piece or air dry. Any sketches we will remove from the sketch pad and can take these home on the day as well. Note phones can not be used during the session in the room to avoid any sneaky photos of life model. Note byo drinks and food. We no longer lend aprons, however clay can not damage clothing.
