What you'll do
Get in the festive spirit and learn how to make a gingerbread lantern in this clay workshop in Oxenford. Grab your friends and a bottle of wine, or sip on complimentary tea, for this relaxing workshop.
Your instructor will guide you step by step, teaching you basic pottery skills and ceramics to make a gingerbread house lantern. As you build your clay gingerbread house, you can enjoy Christmas carols. This class is perfect for beginners, and you will be able to take your time and enjoy the process!
At the end of class, you will leave your masterpieces at the studio so your instructor can glaze and fire your creations. You'll be able to pick up your gingerbread house in approximately four weeks, just in time to display with a tealight for Christmas.
These clay creations will make lovely Christmas decor that you'll be excited to display for years to come. Join with a group for a craft night and fun holiday festivities!

A small pottery studio based in the Northern Gold Coast. All pieces are handmade and original. I try not to take work too seriously. Clay is a fickle medium and you end up learning you have to run with the punches. It can be a rollercoaster of highs and huge fails and that is what makes it so appealing! You never know what you are going to get! I offer small bespoke hand building workshops in an informal and fun environment.
