What you'll do
This session is all about sparking your imagination while making characters and environment out of clay and creating stories. In this session we use a lot of clay, I mean A LOT! So we can create mountains and rivers, roads and transport, forest and animals, people and houses, and much more.
What is Clay Play?
This activity is about creating characters and stories, and living through the story.
This relates to play-therapy and story-therapy. While everyone creates their own characters we all join the process of creating a community, a world, where we communicate and build relationships, find decisions and solve problems.
Please note, we are not making ceramic pieces in this session. So we don't fire our creations, although some of them (the size of the palm of your hand) can be taken home to paint or play with.
