Clock Making Workshop: Art Glass

Take a creative escape from the real world and come and build your own wall clock in Melbourne.This four hour workshop gives you time to brush up on your cutting skills and have some fun building this amazing wall clock. This design is 38cm x 38cm if you want to make a different size or shape please let your teacher know a week before your workshop. The price will be altered accordingly. Sometimes people make a completely different design of their own choosing. See the pictures here. Maybe you'll make a big wall piece that you decide won't be a clock. That's ok of course. If it takes you more than four hours to make this – don’t worry! We’ll schedule another block of time for you to come and finish your amazing clock. This is a stress-free zone. This class is for two people at a time, so you have plenty of room to move around the studio and to listen to the music of your choice and make your masterpiece with ease.Come and have some fun making your own clock that you can take home to hang on your wall and enjoy.As there are loads of steps to preparing this clock for your wall, we'll keep in touch and let you know when it is ready to be collected, usually well within four weeks of the workshop. Please note: Your creation will be kept here at the studio for only three weeks after its finished, it will be donated to charity after that time.

The glass, the firings, the clock hands and the clock mechanism are included in this price, as well as the board and the hanging equipment. If you want to make a smaller clock and we can work out a price depending on the size. Size really does matter when it comes to building glass art. Read more details
