Select Your Material and a Wreath Base
On the day we provide a selection of dried and preserved florals, pods, pine cones and foliages to use in your design. Make your selection to reflect your style and color theme.
Working on Your Base Layer
Start working on your base layer using foliages to frame your design.
Attach them to the wreath base by inserting them between the twigs and secure with paper covered wire and a dub of glue.
Add Large Flowers / Pods to Focal Area
Every design has a focal area, a visual center of your design where your eyes drawn. Attach your main larger flowers or flower groups to that space.
Add Secondary Floral Groups to Create a Visually Cohesive Design
Following your foliage frame add smaller florals or flower groups to fill your design. Take a step back and look at the whole design development. It always helps with harmonious placement. Re-adjust if not happy with it. You are almost done. Smile and carry on. I will be there to hold your hand and offer pro tips.
Finish Your Design with Fine Details and a Bow
Fill the gaps between your floral groups using foliage or smaller dried flowers , gum nuts and other embellishments.
Glue and breathe 🙂↔️ the more you add, the better it looks.
Attach a bow or a simple twine string to hang.
Take the Shake Test and Admire
Well done You! Now it’s the time for a final shake test. Shake it well and see if all your elements are starting put! Add glue or more wire to reinforce the problem areas. This masterpiece shall stand the test of time, travel, storage and weather 😇
