Sharing doubles the fun so grab a friend or partner and book a date for a 90 minute session blacksmithing in a traditional coke forge in Melbourne.
You will be expertly guided from planning your work of art to forging it and applying a finish. With lots of items to choose from, you are bound to agree on an item.
Sounds easy? Well it is a challenge that you can get a huge sense of satisfaction!
A speedy safety induction to keep you safe in the forge then your friendly teacher take you on a tour. We'll get dressed into our leather aprons and go through a demonstration on tool handling and material management.
Once you have selected the piece of art you want to make, you will be guided by an expert, who will be at your side the whole way to keep you on track.
By the end of the class, you and your partner will have created your own work of art. Imagine showing your piece off to your friends and family, knowing you've made it yourself!
