Join me for a fun half-day workshop at my Currumbin Valley studio and create your very own stylish macrame dog lead and hand-built doggy bowl! Join for a single workshop or for both (single and double workshop options)
Choose from public workshop dates to meet like minded creatives or book a private workshop in studio or mobile to celebrate your special occasion.
A complete beginner? As a qualified school teacher the curriculum is designed for complete beginners. I will support you every step of the way and you will be guided step-by-step in the creative process to create a high quality end result with ease.
Master macrame basics of a mounting knot, square knot and finishing with wrapping knot and handbuild techniques to make your unique creation.
Whether you're looking for hens party ideas, festival, team building activities for your business, birthday party ideas or to meet new like-minded creatives in your area, come along to this fun macrame workshop!
The workshop includes highest quality 100% recycled cotton cord of the highest quality in natural color.
Class schedule for public classes
1pm-2.30pm Clay workshop (handbuild a dog bowl)
Short break
3pm-5pm Macrame workshop- Make a dog lead
*Dog bowl will be available from collection at the studio 4-6 weeks post workshop.
Minimum group numbers
A minimum of 6 people is required to run a private workshop and a maximum number of 20 per session. Groups larger than 12 will include a teacher and teacher's assistant.
Mobile workshops available with a private workshop fee $150 ($100 to cover bump in and out) travel fee ($50)
Catering
Handmade grazing boards available for delivery as an add on and hot beverages are available for purchase or add on from our onsite cafe.

The Bohemian Acadamy of Arts and Crafts is a creative studio teaching macrame workshops. Workshops are run at my studio in Currumbin Valley 2 scenic 20 minutes drive from Burleigh Heads.
I am small business owner with a big heart, passionate about bringing creative community together to relax, create and connect. With a background as a school teacher my creative teaching Curriculum and teaching methods are perfectly crafted for beginners. I am passionate about guiding beginners on their journey to create high quality products and enjoy the creative process.
I offer a range of classes, specializing in pottery and macrame with public and private event options.
