Max and Zoey are great hosts! The venue is a 90's kid's wet dream. Only thing to beat the curated paper materials is, hands down, the cheese platter I have attended 3 collage workshops and would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a fun, social, laid-back event. Will definitely be back. :)

This was a great class and such lovely people - thank you! It was hard being out and out on my own after so long in lockdown, but I loved being able to do my own thing and interact with others at the same time. Max and Zoe were wonderful hosts and really supportive of me as an absolute beginner collager.

So loved hanging out collaging with my friend at That Paper Joint on Saturday! I have a collage pack that was posted to me in Sydney during lockdown so was keen to visit. Max & Zoe were so friendly and gave some great tips during the workshop. Will definitely book another workshop next time in Melbourne - I recommend to go play-so fun! (Coffee & Donuts bonus ) x Amy

Loved attending that paper joint collage workshop. Super welcoming facilitation, beautiful creative space, magnificent work area and equipment. Really fun materials. As a lapsed arts practitioner, I enjoyed reconnecting with the joy of art making and creative play/ curiosity. We booked the session as a best buddy meet up, it was really special to have a shared creative experience with a dear friend. Thanks Max and Zoe!

Lovely way to spend a Friday night decompressing from work and doing something creative. Very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The space is amazing and the materials available are really eclectic and inspiring. I was surprised how much I was able to create during the workshop. Max gives great guidance and I now feel inspired and confident to do more collage in the future! Thanks Max, Zoe and Franky!

Class was a lot of fun. Felt very free to do what I wanted and everyone was helpful and encouraging along the way. There was always the right amount of guidance to point me in the right direction while letting my collages take the form I wanted. Never felt pressured to do something specific. The studio was great to spend time in, a lot of inspiration to be drawn from around you, and almost unlimited resources made available

Roll up for a fun, relaxing and creative time – the hours disappear as you collect treasures from vintage books and magazines and learn how to craft them into new artworks. Max and Zoe are wonderful hosts, offering great materials and a collaborative set up, plus encouragement, tips, chill tunes and tasty treats throughout. Special shout out also to Frankie, the adorable and affectionate pup who also keeps everyone feeling very welcome. Both me and my daughter (10) had a brilliant time and can't wait to come back.

I had a really nice morning at the collage workshop! Especially coming out of lockdown and not really socialising for months, I appreciated how relaxed and friendly the space felt. I liked how Max kept the instruction open (so there wasn't any pressure to reach a certain point) but he was also active in coming around and giving ideas and thinking out loud on what his process would be. We were offered so many incredible vintage books and magazines too, I could have happily spent the whole workshop just browsing them. The home-y touches were lovely too, like vintage mugs for a coffee and good tunes. And the dog!

Sara Sulava Nov 2021

Loved the collage workshop with Zoe & Max. The space is fantastic & such an excellent vibe to the presentation.
Max presented plenty of ways to approach collage, shared loads of fantastic materials, and we were given ample time to experiment and play. Guided input into choices and the discussion of work was super hands on and helpful in thinking about different ways to create.
A great little scanner hack that I can’t wait to try in my classroom as well!
