Learn how to create desserts and pastries in this ultra-sweet Brisbane cooking class! This three-hour session will cover the art of choux pastry, continental pastries, chocolate work, sugar work and more!

During this class, you will learn valuable skills such as nougat, honeycomb, croquembouche, wedding or birthday cake decorating, pastries for tarts and pies, sugar spinning, chocolate bark and more! You will cook three of these dishes on the day and the menu is subject to change.

Gain confidence and learn valuable presentation and decorating skills to ensure a round of applause at the very next dessert you serve. You will not have to prepare your entire dessert from scratch on your own, we do all the hard work while you concentrate on gaining new skills. We will not have individual work stations but will work in smaller groups on tasks assigned.

Please note: The menu is based on available seasonal produce and is subject to change at the experience provider's discretion. You will not have your own workstation but will work in small groups with some of the lessons being demonstrated and some of the lessons being hands-on. Please advise us of any dietary requirements in advance, The creations in this class are not gluten-free! The class is held in a fully licensed venue so you are unable to BYO.

Note: Groups of four or more guests will get their own private table. Support Workers must book and pay to enter. Please book the Support Worker as a Youth ticket.

Loved loved loved this class. The venue is great. If I have to say anything negative I would say they just need to up the air con. But that’s only because I hate being hot. Great teacher with amazing skills and knowledge. Went a little bit quick for me being that I’m so new to cooking but I still really enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a fun day out with friends and family

Our teacher was very knowledgeable and encouraging. The venue was well equiped, all the ingredients needed in a fun space. We learnt how to create sumptuous crème brûlée, crème pat, choux and short crust in a time frame like professionals. Great value, we had a wonderful time.

Teacher was involved and helpful, and we had fun making various desserts such as panna cotta and crème brûlée. Venue could be air conditioned though, was a bit hot which may impact the pastries. Overall was a fun & informative class.
