Q: Who is the instructor?
Beata Dorian. Beata was born in Klodzko, Poland. Classically trained at the Academy of Fine Arts, Wroclaw, Poland, she completed her five years study in Ceramics and Design in 1998. Beata is a versatile artist who enjoys working with various mediums and techniques like painting, drawing, ceramics and sculpture. Her true passion lies in ceramic figurative sculptures, hand built using coils. Beata has participated in group exhibitions in Poland as well as Australia. She is a recent recipient of an Arts Grant from Kingston City Council which will resulted a series of sculptures portraying life in the Kingston area.
