Already know the basics of embroidery and ready for your next challenge?
This class is designed for stitchers who are comfortable with fundamental embroidery techniques and want to continue building their skills through more detailed and intricate designs.
Rather than learning the basics, we'll focus on expanding your stitch repertoire, refining your technique, and creating beautiful textured embroidery on premium knitwear.
With over 25 years of stitching experience and a background as a qualified teacher, I'll provide plenty of one-on-one guidance to help you tackle more advanced elements while working at your own pace in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
Before class, you'll choose your garment colour, size, and design, so everything is prepared and ready when you arrive.
During the class, you'll explore techniques such as:
  • Creating more detailed embroidery
  • Combining stitches for texture and depth
  • Working with layered designs
  • Achieving cleaner, more professional finishes
  • Tips for planning and balancing larger embroidery projects
Whether you're returning after attending one of my beginner classes or you've stitched before elsewhere, this class is the perfect opportunity to continue developing your embroidery skills while enjoying a creative morning with like-minded stitchers.
What you'll get
Each guest receives a complete embroidery kit to keep, including:
  • Choice of premium cotton knitwear (blanket, jumper, cardigans)
  • Pre-printed Stick & Stitch embroidery design
  • High-quality embroidery yarn
  • Embroidery needles
  • Needle threader
  • Embroidery scissors
  • Quick unpicker
  • Water-soluble fabric pen
  • Stitch & Style instruction booklet
  • Keepsake storage box
  • Lifetime access to accompanying video tutorials so you can continue stitching at home
Guests will also enjoy two hours of personalised, step-by-step tuition in a small, supportive class.
Knowledge required
This class is suitable for guests who already have basic embroidery experience.
You should be confident threading a needle and completing common embroidery stitches independently. If you've previously attended one of my Beginner Embroidery Classes or have equivalent experience, you'll be well-suited to this workshop.
If you're completely new to embroidery, I recommend starting with my Beginner Embroidery Class before joining this session.
What to bring
Nothing!
Everything you'll need is provided, including all embroidery materials, tools, and your chosen garment.
You're welcome to bring along a drink or snacks if you'd like, and don't forget your glasses if you usually wear them for close-up work.
Suitable for

This class is great for individuals and couples as well as for a date idea, birthday or hens party.

This experience would also be a unique gift for her, gift for mum or gift for couples.

Welcome to Elora By Lenore!
I’m Lenore, mum to Elora, lifelong stitcher, and the hands behind everything you see here.
I left my busy teaching career to spend more time with my girl. After she was born, I experienced severe postpartum anxiety and the thought of leaving her felt impossible. To help support our family while staying home with Elora, I started a small Instagram page and began selling custom embroidered pieces.
I was blown away by the support. My pieces regularly sold out, and I spent many late nights stitching orders by hand to keep up with demand. What started as a small creative outlet quickly grew into something much bigger than I ever imagined.
As both a teacher and stitcher, creating DIY embroidery kits felt like the perfect way to combine my two passions. I love helping others learn, and these kits allow me to teach embroidery step-by-step from the comfort of home.
More recently, I’ve expanded into in-person Stitch & Chat classes, where I get to bring together people who want to slow down, learn a new skill, and enjoy the simple joy of creating with their hands. Watching complete beginners gain confidence and leave with a project they’re proud of has quickly become one of the most rewarding parts of my business.
I’m always dreaming up new ideas, creating new designs, and looking for ways to make embroidery accessible, enjoyable, and inspiring for everyone. Thank you for supporting my little (or maybe not so little anymore!) dream. Every order, class booking, message, and share genuinely means the world to our small family.
