Learn how to create high-quality merino wool felt shawls using nunofelting techniques, and add a stunning splash of color to your winter wardrobe. Choose from a wide range of colors and make a unique shawl to suit your personal style. With Gail's expert guidance, you'll discover how to make a wet-felted flower to clasp your shawl together and complete your ensemble.
If you've always been curious about felting but haven't tried it yet, don't worry! This felting class is suitable for complete beginners, and Gail will guide you through every step of the process. You'll learn how to lay out and shape your wool fibers and use water and soap to create your felted shawl. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a beautiful, one-of-a-kind creation to take home and wear with pride.
Join this how-to activity and discover a new skill while unleashing your creative side. Natalie is passionate about sharing a creative journey through the versatility of Powertex and teaches a range of mixed media workshops from fabric sculptures, self-hardening clay projects and painting.
She is a Powertex Distributor and a certified trainer for the East Coast of Australia in all levels of Powertex. Natalie is also on the Powertex Australian Design Team creating instructional blogs and a founding member of Down the Rabbit Hole Artist Co-op (BVAC member).
