Natalie Parish (BA, BSc, BEd)
Natalie is passionate about sharing a creative journey through the versatility of Powertex and teaches a range of mixed media workshops from fabric sculptures, self-hardening clay projects and painting.
She is a Powertex Distributor and a certified trainer for the East Coast of Australia in all levels of Powertex. Natalie is also on the Powertex Australian Design Team creating instructional blogs and a founding member of Down the Rabbit Hole Artist Co-op (BVAC member).
Beginners are most welcome and will be surprised by their own creativity!

Another wonderful workshop with Gail. Already keeping an eye out for more. Was great to be able to learn 2 techniques over 2 days/workshops. Ended up with a lovely light and breezy scarf.

Lots of colour and textures to choose from. Gail provided enough instruction to know what we needed to do and how to do it but not so much they all turned out the same.
Loved the freedom for design we were given. Well and truly hooked. Planning on doing more workshops with Gail in the future.

It was a fantastic first class today, the venue is great and the teacher was so supportive and helpful, I really enjoyed my day and can’t wait for next weeks class to finish my African sculpture. Great value for money with all the support you need. Picture is my sculpture so far.

Natalie is a great teacher on various project with the individual person of their own ideas on the Upcycled Textiles.
She is very helpful and supportive also making sure we understand how it works.
Very happy and exciting to complete my project of the Angel in about two weeks time.
The Venue is a very interesting place as seeing so many ideas and talents out there.

Fantastic Workshop. Possible my favourite one yet. My family is about to be inundated with gifts of homemade soap.
Valerie is a fantastic teacher and she is very knowledgeable about he activities. She is a wealth of information.
The instructions were very clear and support was given when needed.
The information booklet is fabulous.
Do yourself a favour and book this class.

This class was excellent. The teacher Natalie was clear in her instructions and provided great creative insight into finishing off the piece of art. It was great to finish off the piece during the workshop. Highly recommend to others to do.

Our teacher was warm, knowledgeable and fun to hang out with. I found her to be encouraging and patient. The whole process was easy to follow (instruction was clear and demonstrated well). We could work at our own pace with guidance. There were plenty of fab products to choose from and use. The venue was inspiring and comfortable. We had everything we needed.
Not only will I return for future workshops but I'll definitely recommend them to my arty friends.
I can't thank Natalie enough for the amazing experience. Not only did I come away with a piece I'm very happy with but I also feel replenished.
It's just what I needed.

This class is amazing! The teacher was clear and attended generously to everyone. The materials are great quality and you’re guaranteed to go home with something you love.
Workshop space is accessible and 3 steps up to the toilet.
Highly recommend!
