This is a timeless art that you’ll enjoy for many years to come. So if you’ve always wanted to make beautiful bespoke bars of soaps, this is the workshop for you!
Our aim is to empower you to make bath and body care products that are sustainable, using natural ingredients.
All of the equipment and ingredients are supplied, all you need to bring with you is an empty one-litre milk carton. There will also be soap making kits available for purchase so you can make more at home.

Valerie Pearson
Valerie Pearson is a successful educator, public speaker, and author with works covering soap and cosmetic making, home preserving, cheese making, and gut health and fermentation. Valerie co-founded Green Living Australia in 2004 with the business evolving from a need to create homemade, preservative-free, additive-free foods, and chemical-free body products to combat the ever-increasing food allergy and chemical sensitivity within our society.
Valerie and Green Living Australia have built a strong community, providing pure cultures, equipment and education for conscious foodies to fill their dietary requirements and gourmet food cravings and to make all-natural body products that are chemical-free and sustainable!
Natalie Parish (BA, BSc, BEd)
Natalie is passionate about sharing a creative journey through the versatility of Powertex and teaches a range of mixed media workshops from fabric sculptures, self-hardening clay projects and painting.
She is a Powertex Distributor and a certified trainer for the East Coast of Australia in all levels of Powertex. Natalie is also on the Powertex Australian Design Team creating instructional blogs and a founding member of Down the Rabbit Hole Artist Co-op (BVAC member).
Beginners are most welcome and will be surprised by their own creativity!
