At its heart lies coconut, an omnipresent ingredient woven seamlessly into its dishes from the most refined vegetarian delicacies to richly layered non-vegetarian fare.
The state’s remarkable diversity is shaped by its physiography spanning the coastal plains, mist-laced hill ranges,  and the fertile black-soil tracts.
Within this exclusive Karnataka series at Heavenly Morsel, our focus turns to the rustic coastal and hill regions, the Spice Queen’s most beloved culinary terrains - where the cuisine is vibrant & soulful.
